My room, located on the ground floor, was very dark with a strong smell of detergent filling out the room. The rooms are in superb condition, offering everything you need in a hotel - comfortable and well-sized bed, decent sized and well-ventilated room, and excellent working bathroom facilities. The hotel is close to the places I needed to go, at walking distance from Paseo Colon, and near lots of bus stops. The dining with only some stale bread and children's cereal at the buffet and limited amount of coffee was probably the worse part. The facilities are decent. The price could be better for the value offered.

For my return to San Jose, I found the hotel to be in superb condition, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were well-equipped with a comfortable bed, decent size, and excellent bathroom facilities. However, there were some minor issues after exploring the rest of Costa Rica.
